Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Insite.fyi platform ("Service"), operated by Insite FYI ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

Description of Service

Insite.fyi is an AI-powered chat widget platform that enables businesses to:

• Create chatbots trained on their website content and uploaded documents
• Deploy embeddable chat widgets on their websites
• Monitor conversations and capture leads through an analytics dashboard
• Configure custom Q&A responses and chatbot behavior

Website visitors interact with these chatbots through embedded widgets on our customers' websites.

Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• One account per individual; creating multiple accounts for the same person is not permitted

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Engage in any activity that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Upload, transmit, or distribute content that is malicious, deceptive, defamatory, or obscene
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to generate or distribute spam, phishing, or other unsolicited communications
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use the Service in a manner that could create liability or harm for Insite FYI or its users
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access the Service beyond its intended functionality

Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload, create, or generate through the Service, including training data, uploaded documents, custom Q&A pairs, and conversation data collected via your chatbot widgets. Uploaded files (PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD) are processed into vector embeddings for AI retrieval — raw files are not retained after processing.

License to Insite FYI

By using the Service, you grant Insite FYI a limited, non-exclusive license to use anonymized and aggregated data derived from your use of the Service for the purpose of improving service quality, performance, and reliability. This license does not extend to your identifiable content or personal data.

Our Platform

Insite FYI retains all rights, title, and interest in the platform, software, branding, design, and documentation. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand identity without prior written consent.

AI-Generated Content

Chatbot responses are generated using artificial intelligence, currently powered by Google Gemini. We may change or add AI providers in the future.

• AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Insite FYI does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any AI-generated content.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content served through your chatbot widgets before it reaches your end users.
• Insite FYI is not liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on AI-generated responses.

Billing and Payment

Billing and payment features are currently being developed. When available, pricing plans and payment terms will be displayed on our website. We reserve the right to introduce, modify, or discontinue pricing plans with reasonable notice.

Until billing is implemented, the Service may be offered on a free or beta basis. Access during this period does not guarantee continued free access once billing is introduced.

Termination

Insite FYI may suspend or terminate your account for the following reasons:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Non-payment of applicable fees (when billing is active)
• Engagement in illegal activity through or in connection with the Service
• Actions that harm or threaten the security, integrity, or availability of the Service

You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us at support@insite.fyi. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Insite FYI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Insite FYI does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any content will be accurate or reliable.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us at support@insite.fyi. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue within 30 days.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India and governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and may notify you via email or through the dashboard. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
